Cast & Crew

Film-experienced location, construction, casting, unit, catering, precision driving personnel all reside locally and many of our local businesses are experienced in servicing film production.
Crewing is not difficult as many Sydney and Adelaide-based technicians are accustomed to travelling and working in the region on a regular basis.
Broken Hill has a unit manager and also supports a casting agency experienced in actor and extra casting.

Production Facilities

The city offers a selection of clean, air-conditioned and connected production office spaces that can be readily adapted to suit any size production as well as large, clean, clear span warehouse spaces for shooting, construction or storage.
ANZ, Commonwealth, St George, National and Westpac Banks all support branches in Broken Hill.
We also have a 450 seat cinema with mobile 35mm projection facilities and a community that is home to many with skills and experience in the film industry.  Silver City Cinema is privately owned and operated.

Conferences Events and Festivals
The Calendar includes the dates and contacts for: major events (4 held annually and biannually); conferences and an estimated attendee number; the bigger entertainment dates eg: a large name singer; a Sporting Group eg: NSW/SA under 18s soccer competition; a school reunion.
