About Film Broken Hill

Film Broken Hill (FBH) is a joint initiative of the Far Western Regional Development Board, the NSW Department of State and Regional Development, the Broken Hill City Council and local freelance technicians.

FBH operate under the auspices of the Broken Hill City Council in close collaboration with local authorities, technicians and the NSW Film & Television Office

FBH provides an information and referral service to filmmakers and commercial photographers about all aspects of shooting in the Far West of New South Wales

We will assist you with:

Location enquiries
Referral of local technicians, facilities and businesses

Our Services include:

In-kind assistance for reconnaissance and inbound missions*
Location scouting at no charge*
The Provision of images from our database online
Provide extra vision cost recovery* on request

FBH aim is to offer local eyes, ears and experience to filmmakers particularly during the pre production stages of any project

FBH has developed a database of local technicians and businesses with film experience. This is updated annually and is provided at no cost.
